Italian Translation Services - FAQ
Our company offers a wide range of Italian translation services. These include document translation, website localisation, transcription services, and interpretation services. Our document translation services cover a variety of document types including contracts, manuals, reports, and more. Our website localisation services ensure that your website is culturally appropriate and accessible to Italian-speaking audiences. Our transcription services can transcribe Italian audio into text. Our interpretation services can facilitate communication in conferences, meetings, and other settings.
We follow a rigorous quality assurance process that includes translation, editing, and proofreading. The initial translation is done by a professional translator. The translated document is then reviewed and edited by a second language expert to ensure accuracy and consistency. We also use state-of-the-art translation tools and software to ensure consistency and accuracy across all projects.
Our pricing is based on the nature of the text (technicality, complexity), the length of the document, and the turnaround time required. We believe in transparency and provide a detailed quote before starting any project. The timeline for a translation project depends on several factors including the length and complexity of the text, the format of the source material, and the specific requirements of the client. However, we understand that sometimes you may need your translations done urgently. This is why we offer rush and expedited services to meet your tight deadlines. However, please note that rush orders may incur additional charges due to the extra resources required to complete the project in a shorter timeframe.
Yes, we have the capacity and resources to handle large-scale translation projects. We have a large team of translators and can allocate resources as needed to ensure your project is completed within the stipulated time. We also have project managers who oversee large projects to ensure they are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Yes, we do provide certified translations. Certified translations are often required for official documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, academic transcripts, etc. Our certified translations are accepted by government agencies, courts, and universities worldwide.
Yes! When we send the translated documents, we will provide a Certificate of Translation Accuracy, which will: • state that it's a 'true and accurate translation of the original document' • state the full name and contact details of a representative of the translation company (not the translator) • include the translation stamp and credentials of our translation company. This fulfils the requirements of certified translations in the UK.
Yes. Our sworn translations are accepted by the Ministero degli Affari Esteri (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Ministero dell'Interno (Ministry of the Interior), Agenzia delle Entrate (Revenue Agency) and other institutions, such as banks, universities, and courts. If you are submitting an English supporting document to any of these organisations, it will need to be translated by a sworn translator who is accredited by their local court in Italy.
The certified translations of your documents will be sent to you electronically as a PDF file via email. If a physical copy is required, you have the option of printing the PDF document and it will be considered as an original copy. However, please ensure that you print the translated documents in colour. This will help distinguish them from photocopies and avoid any potential confusion. If you have requested sworn, notarised or apostilled translations, they will be sent to you by post.
Absolutely. We have a team of translators who specialise in various industries and fields. They are familiar with the specific terminologies and jargon used in these fields. Whether it’s a medical report, a legal contract, a technical manual, or a financial statement, we can provide accurate and contextually appropriate translations.
We take confidentiality very seriously. All our translators are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before they start working with us. This ensures that they are legally bound to keep all client information confidential. We also have robust data security measures in place to protect your documents and information.
We will endeavour to ensure that we provide you with a professional Italian translation. If the service that we provide does not meet your expectations, we will assess the queries and, if deemed necessary, have the translated material revised/proofread at no extra cost. This, however, does not cover a) Preferential changes; b) Very minor errors such as minimal typos and omissions that do not affect the sense of the translated text unless you have commissioned our proofreading services. Any issues regarding quality should be raised within 30 days.
If you decide to cancel the translations, cancellation charges will apply as a percentage of the completed work, unless more than half of the project has been completed, in which case the full fees will be charged.
